About the Colony
Matsuura’s third signature model, used at the 2016 World Yo-Yo Contest in Cleveland where he won his seventh 5A World Championship. The Colony is effectively an outer-rim bimetal evolution of the Palpitation — same size and shape but with a heavier steel outer ring that fundamentally changes weight distribution, extending sleep time and boosting stability for long, complex trick sequences. The deep rim design provides maximum power in the narrowest possible body.
