The Photon is Top Yo’s undersized all-aluminum bimetal, pairing a 7003 aluminum body with harder 7075 aluminum rims. Rather than the added weight of stainless steel, the 7075 rims prioritize durability over mass concentration, resulting in a stable axis that maintains integrity as spin decreases — a nod to classic undersized yo-yos. At 49.87mm it is significantly smaller than Top Yo’s standard lineup.
