The Woodbullet is a Duncan OEM version of the ProYo, fitted with custom Hyper Yo-Yo sidecaps as a Japan exclusive for the third Hyper Yo-Yo line (2010). Its distinguishing feature is a wooden axle — giving it a notably smoother feel than a plastic-axle model. The wooden axle requires a brief break-in period (wrap the string approximately 10 times before first use), and replacement wooden axle sets are sold separately. Notably used by professional player Top Spinner Rei, the Woodbullet precedes the MetalBullet (2011) in the beginner-to-intermediate progression. At 43.8 grams it is the lightest model in the Gen 3 line.
