The Scout is Petr Kavka’s second CLYW signature (following the Cliff), released in November 2014. It introduced a notable first: CLYW’s “Advance Scout” — a limited production run of the exact prototype versions Kavka used to win the 2014 Czech & Slovak National Championship. Only 214 of the planned 300 Advance Scout units were made available, and CLYW stated they would never be remade, making them among the most sought-after CLYW limited releases. The regular Scout is the production-refined version released to the wider market.
