The Yeti was CLYW’s first plastic yo-yo, released in 2013 and discontinued by 2015. An oversized polycarbonate throw at 58.75mm, it brought CLYW’s design sensibility to an accessible $45 price point — dramatically below the brand’s metal lineup. Discontinued in 2015; the Yeti 2.0 (2016) followed with a refined plastics formulation addressing issues with the original mold. Notable as the proof-of-concept that CLYW could produce a viable plastic.
