The Puffin is the first signature model for Palli Gudmundsson, the Icelandic champion, released around 2012–2013. It merges the organic peaked profile of the original Peak with the Chief’s double inner rim design, creating an unusually wide catch zone at 46.9mm despite the moderate 54mm diameter. Succeeded by the Puffin 2 in January 2014, which featured a shortened hub for fingerspin tricks and a low response wall optimized for horizontal play. A further “new Puffin” re-release appeared in 2017.
