History

The Wide Load was a 55-unit numbered collector model released in late 2002 or early 2003. It represented Frank Difeo’s most elaborately accessorized yo-yo to date: every unit shipped with three sets of rubber weight rings (two black sets in thick and thin gauges, one red/black set), five sets of interchangeable pogs (yellow, orange, and fluorescent laminated paper; clear lexan; black anodized aluminum with laser engraving), a branded display stand, and a combination tool.

At full weight with all pogs and rings installed, the Wide Load reached approximately 72g — the heaviest standard Dif-e-Yo configuration. The design later served as the foundation for the Rev-1 Over Haul (2010).
