The Barracuda is Rafael Matsunaga’s signature model and one of the most decorated yo-yos in modern competition history, used to win 8 National and World titles. It was unveiled at the 2012 World Yo-Yo Contest and debuted as a winner the same day — Brazilian player Hank Freeman used it to take 1st place in the 3A Division. The Barracuda’s aluminum H-shaped Inverse Round body keeps the string clear of the inner walls during play, and it shipped with a Monkey Weight counterweight for 5A flexibility. The aesthetic — clean anodized colorways, angular profile — became the visual template for the Screaming Eagle premium tier.
