The Tri-B is MonkeyfingeR Design’s first throw built collaboratively by the full team. “Tri” references the three design lineages synthesized in the geometry: the Ape-X, the Caesar, and the Gelada 2. It was the first MFD throw to ship with the REvolution bearing — a 10-ball composite with ceramic balls and a steel cage, introduced here as MFD’s house bearing. Two alloy variants were produced simultaneously: a standard 6061 version and a stiffer, competition-oriented A5/7075 variant.
