The Ape-X is MonkeyfingeR Design’s competition-focused flagship, 100% made in Canada. Released in January 2014, it sold out within days and never received a second regular production run, making it a sought collector piece. The limited “Tiki” edition — 10 units with tiger wood anodization — was a Zoo member exclusive. Elements from the Ape-X outer profile carried forward into the later G-Squared Co-Lab and Tri-B designs. A limited 7075 alloy variant (the Tiki Edition) was produced alongside the standard 6061 run.
