About Conor Neumann
Conor Neumann is an American 1A yo-yo competitor from West Springfield, Massachusetts, active in the northeast regional scene. He is known in the community both as a consistent presence at regional championships and as a yo-yo instructor at A2Z Science & Learning Store in Northampton, Massachusetts, where he teaches players of all skill levels using the store’s Trick Ladder curriculum and hosts monthly “Dog Bite” practice meetings at a local church gymnasium.
Neumann joined the Yoyofriends team in May 2025. The brand’s announcement on the YoYoExpert Forums cited his close relationships with existing team members and his positive influence in the competitive scene. He won the Virginia State Yo-Yo Contest 1A division on January 18, 2025 using the Yoyofriends Ultracut, and went on to compete at the 2025 Northeast Regional and Pacific Northwest Regional championships with the Peregrine X. He also registered for the 2024 World Yo-Yo Contest in Cleveland, Ohio, competing in the 1A freestyle division.
Outside of competition, Neumann is an active contributor to the growth of the sport in the northeastern United States. His dual role as competitor and instructor reflects a broader pattern in the community of elite players who invest in grassroots development.
