Asia Pacific Yo-Yo Championship (AP) 2020

There was no Asia Pacific Yo-Yo Championship held in 2020. Following its last edition in 2019, the AP championship entered a multi-year hiatus caused initially by the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, competitive yo-yo largely shifted to the Online World Yo-Yo Contest (OWYYC). The AP contest finally made its highly anticipated return in March 2026, where it was rebranded as the Asia Pacific (AP) Yo-Yo Open and transitioned into a fully global competition open to players from all countries.
