Ja-Ru
Ja-Ru, Inc. is a toy company based in Jacksonville, Florida, which says on its own site that it was founded in 1961 and acquired Imperial Toy in 2019. The YoYo Wiki lists a number of Ja-Ru yo-yo lines, including the All Star, American Champ, Today’s Toys, Super Sports Festival and Stunt Wheelie, and notes that the name is not an abbreviation of “Jack Russell”, as some collectors believed. Dates for its yo-yo production are not established.
