About the South Central Regional Yo-Yo Contest 2008
The 2008 South Central Regional Yo-Yo Contest (SCR) was held Saturday, August 16, 2008, at the Dallas Convention Center in conjunction with the Super Show Expo. Organized by Bobby Stewart of the Buzz-On contest team, the event ran full three-minute freestyles with no preliminary round and a $10 entry fee. SCR served as an official National Yo-Yo League qualifier toward the U.S. National Yo-Yo Contest and was also sanctioned by the American Yo-Yo Association. Detailed division results were not recorded in any surviving public record.
