Aliyah Tan
Aliyah Tan is a competitive 3A (dual-handed string trick) yo-yo player currently based in Portland, Oregon, previously associated with Eugene. She began attending contests around 2012 and made her competitive debut in 2014, drawn to the discipline after watching a 3A freestyle. She built a strong track record at the Pacific Northwest Regional and US Nationals through the early-to-mid 2020s, taking multiple podium finishes, before winning her first US National 3A Championship in 2026 with a routine choreographed to The Last Dinner Party’s “Count the Ways.” She represented the US at the 2026 World YoYo Contest in Himeji, Japan, finishing 9th in the 3A semifinal. She has a documented relationship with Turning Point, which released a signature “Hades” colorway (Pink with Blasted Blue Rims) in her honor in 2024, and has a longstanding association with One Drop YoYos.
