Chandler Steele

Chandler Steele is a competitive yo-yo player from Xenia, Ohio, who grew up in Jamestown before moving to Springboro, Ohio at age 10, where he picked up the hobby. He entered his first contest at the 2011 Ohio State Contest, placing 8th, and steadily climbed the ranks through the 2010s, winning the Illinois State Contest in 2017 and 2019 and competing as part of Team YoYoFactory around that period. After a mid-career plateau (10th at 2023 US Nationals), Steele broke out in 2025 — winning the Midwest Regional, taking 2nd at US Nationals in Las Vegas, and placing 3rd in the 1A Final at the World YoYo Contest in Prague with a score of 86.8. He is closely associated with The Good Life, which released his signature “Breeze” model, a bi-metal throw with stainless steel weight rings built for his fast, directional-change-heavy style.
