Tomoya Kurita

Tomoya Kurita is a Japanese competitive yoyo player representing Kanagawa Prefecture, specializing exclusively in the 3A (two-handed) division. He first appeared in national-level results in 2014 (5th place, Japan National Yo-Yo Contest), won his first national title the following year, and has gone on to claim eight Japan National 3A championships between 2015 and 2025. At the World Yoyo Contest he has finished on the podium multiple times, with a best result of 2nd place (2016 and 2025), and won the Online World Yoyo Contest in 2022. He is sponsored by Turning Point, the Japanese manufacturer founded by 2009 3A World Champion Kentaro Kimura, and has released signature yoyo models including Entangle, Entangle 2, Untangle, and HINETOMOSU.
