Moose
Moose is an Australian toy company founded in 1989 in Melbourne. During the late-1990s yo-yo craze, Moose became the leading yo-yo brand in Australia, producing two series of novelty yo-yos marketed to children between approximately 1998 and 2001. The first series featured scented, chrome, glow-in-the-dark, and glitter plastic yo-yos numbered 1000–4000; the second series introduced a reflective finish line numbered 5000–7000. Each model was packaged with a trick instruction booklet.
The yo-yo line was discontinued in the early 2000s as the yo-yo boom subsided. The parent company, Moose Toys Pty Ltd, remains active as a toy manufacturer known for Mighty Beanz, Shopkins, and other collectible lines.
